Meet the new ProPilot X Calibre 400 Laser. In a watchmaking first, its 39mm case and bracelet are both in titanium, and it’s powered by the game-changing Oris Calibre 400 five-day automatic. But the story this time is in its colourful dial, which is created using an innovative lasering technique never seen in watchmaking before. Incredibly, there’s not a drop of colour pigment in it. Instead, the blue, green and violet finish is created by reflected light. It’s a technological beauty.

The technique behind the watch’s colourful dial is state-of-the-art. But it’s inspired by the principles of biomimicry, whereby technology reflects the wonders of nature. Think of the iridescent wings of a beetle and the way they reflect light to appear a bluey-green. It’s the same thing here. Oris developed the technique in partnership with Switzerland’s prestigious ETH Zürich university and this is the first time it’s been used in a watch. The result? Joy on the wrist.

The ProPilot X Calibre 400 follows in a long line of Oris pilot’s watches going back to the early 1900s, but its power lies beyond its associations: it’s a mechanical joy machine. Inside the ProPilot X Calibre 400 is one of Oris new generation of high-performance automatics. 2 Year warranty from Oris SA. StarBuy are Authorised distributors of Oris Watches. Oris SA provides a minimum standard warranty of two years on all Oris watches, provided the warranty is activated through an authorised dealer, and in accordance with the following terms and conditions, as stated in the Oris product manual. Join MyOris to extend your warranty to three, five or ten years (dependent on its movement).

• How and when will my StarBuy order be shipped?
  We ship all orders via Australia Post Express for fast and reliable delivery. We aim to dispatch every order as quickly as possible—typically within 1–3 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order ships.

• Will I need to sign for my order?
  Yes, a signature is required upon delivery. If no one is home, we recommend using a work address. Australia Post may offer contactless delivery—in those cases, we follow their current safety protocols. Risk and ownership transfer to the recipient upon delivery.
  

• What if I am not home when my order arrives?
  If no one is available to sign, Australia Post will leave a card with details on how to collect your parcel from the closest authorised Australia Post Office. You’ll need to present a photo ID at the post office to pick it up. If you’ve authorised a Safe Drop with Australia Post previously, they’ll follow your existing instructions.

  We offer free shipping Australia-wide with Australia Post Express. For approved brands shipped to New Zealand, a $10 flat fee will be added to your total at checkout. Approved parcels to NZ are shipped within the Australia Post / NZ Post network.
