Since 1904, Oris has focussed on developing high-functioning watches that deliver realworld value. The ProPilot Altimeter continued that tradition by accurately relaying the time, air pressure and altitude via a single dial entirely mechanically. Full of innovation, it became a watch pilots, mountaineers, hikers and so-called watchnerds aspired to. Now, after a three-year project, they have made it even better.

The new ProPilot Altimeter 01 793 7775 8734-SET has an improved altimeter module, capable of indicating altitude up to 19,700 feet or 6,000 metres (as before, there are two available configurations in feet as well as meters), where previously the scales topped out at 15,000 feet or 4,500 metres. The new watch's case is in lightweight carbon fibre produced using an innovative process developed and perfected by their partner 9T Labs, a spin-off from the prestigious ETH Zurich university (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). It houses Calibre 793, a slimline automatic with an improved 56-hour power reserve that sits inside a case 1mm thinner than the original. These upgrades make the new ProPilot Altimeter one of the highest performing, most innovative watches Oris have ever created.

Oris have worked to make the new iteration of the altimeter higher, slimmer as well as lighter. Higher in elevation so the new version can now guage the altitude to 6000m or 19,700 feet (depending on the correct model). Slimmer in case size as the upgraded Calibre 793 movement is a lot slimmer than the previous version with a longer 56 hour power reserve. Lighter in weight due to the use of the pioneering use of the fibre and PEKK composite case material. The new 01 793 7775 8734-Set weighs a mere 98gm.

• How and when will my StarBuy order be shipped?
  We ship all orders via Australia Post Express for fast and reliable delivery. We aim to dispatch every order as quickly as possible—typically within 1–3 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order ships.
  

• Can StarBuy guarantee delivery dates?
  While Australia Post Express is generally reliable, their delivery dates are estimates only and may vary, especially during busy periods. We appreciate your understanding if your parcel takes a little longer to arrive.
  

• Will I need to sign for my order?
  Yes, a signature is required upon delivery. If no one is home, we recommend using a work address. Australia Post may offer contactless delivery—in those cases, we follow their current safety protocols. Risk and ownership transfer to the recipient upon delivery.
  

• What if I am not home when my order arrives?
  If no one is available to sign, Australia Post will leave a card with details on how to collect your parcel from the closest authorised Australia Post Office. You’ll need to present a photo ID at the post office to pick it up. If you’ve authorised a Safe Drop with Australia Post previously, they’ll follow your existing instructions.

• What are your shipping charges?
  We offer free shipping Australia-wide with Australia Post Express. For approved brands shipped to New Zealand, a $10 flat fee will be added to your total at checkout. Approved parcels to NZ are shipped within the Australia Post / NZ Post network.
