The Citizen Tsuno Chrono AN3714-84Z is the most outspoken watch in Citizen's Record Label "Gradation Tsuno" series. Its deep red metal dial darkens from the outer edge toward the centre, so it glows in daylight and turns almost burgundy in low light.
A gold-tone chronograph hand adds a period touch, and a jet-black plated bezel frames three recessed sub-dials and a date window between 4 and 5 o'clock. A domed crystal sits on top. The stainless steel case is 38mm across and 11.7mm thick, and the watch weighs 98g on its single-row steel bracelet with folded links and a sliding clasp.
The case shape is pure 1973. The crown and twin chronograph pushers sit across the top, as on Citizen's original Chronograph Challenge Timer, which earned the bullhead nickname. Citizen's in-house Caliber 0510 quartz movement keeps time to ±20 seconds a month, runs about two years on a battery, and powers a 1/1-second chronograph up to 12 hours.
