The Citizen Tsuno Chrono AN3714-76W has a rich green metal dial that darkens from the outer edge toward the centre. The colour suits the 1970s styling of this bullhead chronograph, part of Citizen's Record Label "Gradation Tsuno" series.
A gold-tone chronograph hand sits over the green, and the jet-black plated bezel frames three recessed sub-dials and a date window between 4 and 5 o'clock. A domed crystal sits on top. The case is brushed and polished stainless steel, 38mm across, 11.7mm thick, and just 98g on its bracelet. The single-row steel bracelet has folded links and adjusts to fit wrists from 135mm to 200mm via a sliding clasp.
The watch is built around the top-mounted crown and twin pushers of Citizen's 1973 Chronograph Challenge Timer. That layout is why collectors call it the bullhead. Inside is Citizen's in-house Caliber 0510 quartz movement. It's accurate to ±20 seconds a month, runs about two years on a battery, and times events in whole seconds up to 12 hours.
Lume on the hands and markers and 50m water resistance make it easy to wear every day. The green dial goes well with olive, tan and earth tones, and suits a man whose style leans heritage and workwear rather than corporate.
What we love about this watch: Green dials are having a moment, but few suit their watch as naturally as this one. The AN3714-76W looks as if it came out of a 1970s Japanese catalogue. The dark edge of the gradient gives the dial depth, and the gold chronograph hand adds warmth. It's the most characterful of the four, and the one most likely to become a favourite in the watch box.
