The Citizen L Rainell EM1208-53A is the gold-tone expression of Citizen's raindrop-shaped ladies' watch, and it's the one that leans furthest into jewellery. The stainless steel case is finished in warm gold PVD and sculpted into a soft raindrop, 26.2mm across and 35.3mm from tip to tip, tapering toward a crown set with a small stone. At only 8.3mm thin it lies flat under a sleeve and stacks easily beside bangles or a bracelet.
The champagne dial follows the shape of the case with slim applied indices and hands in matching gold, and a sapphire crystal sits over the top so the polished surfaces stay unmarked. The integrated gold-tone bracelet flows straight out of the case, giving the whole piece the continuous, liquid line the Rainell was designed around.
