The Citizen Calendrier BU0088-51H is a men's Eco-Drive moonphase watch that trades the collection's usual restraint for something colder and more deliberate. The 41.8mm silver-tone stainless steel case is finished with a blue-tone bezel and a recessed crown, keeping the profile smooth and uninterrupted, and it runs on a five-link stainless steel bracelet with a fold-over clasp and push-button release.

The dial is where the money is: multi-layered and worked in deep blue, white, silver and grey, carrying analogue indicators for the month, day and date and a moonphase display towards 6 o'clock. Sapphire crystal sits over the top for genuine scratch resistance, and at 138 grams on the bracelet it has real presence without going heavy.

Inside is Citizen's calibre 8730 Eco-Drive, which converts any light source — sunlight or the lamp on your desk — into stored energy, so there is no battery to replace for the life of the watch. After purchase and shipping by StarBuy, an email is sent by Citizen registering the warranty directly to the buyer. A link to the online instructions manual is also sent within the email. Citizen no longer supply any hard copies of the warranty booklet or the instructions manual.

  If no one is available to sign, Australia Post will leave a card with details on how to collect your parcel from the closest authorised Australia Post Office. You’ll need to present a photo ID at the post office to pick it up. If you’ve authorised a Safe Drop with Australia Post previously, they’ll follow your existing instructions.
