The 42mm case and matching bracelet are Super Titanium™ finished in Citizen's black DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating, a hard, dark surface that resists everyday scratches far better than standard plating. It is also remarkably light on the wrist. Against that black, the blue dial and 24-hour world-time bezel stand out sharply. The dial is three-dimensional, built with separate metal rings and bold faceted markers, and high-contrast hands make it read instantly. Anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a fold-over clasp with push-button release complete a watch that looks every bit as purposeful as it is.
Inside is Citizen's Calibre E660, an Eco-Drive movement that charges from any light, never needs a battery, and runs for up to 6 months in complete darkness on a full charge. It is rated to ±15 seconds per month without signal reception. In Japan, North America, Europe and China it syncs time and calendar to local atomic signals; in Australia it is set manually and keeps that same accuracy.
The functions are built around travel and daily use: Direct Flight world time across 24 time zones, a 60-minute chronograph, a perpetual calendar, an alarm, a 24-hour display and a power reserve indicator.
