Featuring the proprietary Accutron movement powered by electrostatic energy - a historical advancement in timekeeping and the first of its kind, the new Spaceview Evolution collection is a true design evolution of the original Spaceview 2020. While utilizing the same iconic and distinctive case of the Spaceview 2020, the new Spaceview Evolution features an updated orientation of the movement by 30 degrees to give the watches an entirely new look - the turbines are tilted, and crown is positioned at two o’clock. 

New bridgework detail is also incorporated with fine knurled finishing along with green contrast screws for a pop of colour. This style features a gold and silver-tone open-work dial with metal dial rings on which the super luminous markers are set, matching gold hour and minute hands with super luminova center and green tone second hand. It comes on a black genuine leather strap with contrasting green stiching.

The Accutron Spaceview 2020 redefines what a watch can be, powered by Accutron's proprietary electrostatic movement. This unique system uses twin turbines that rotate with human motion, generating electrostatic energy to power the watch. The energy is stored in an accumulator and drives two motors: a world-first electrostatic motor powering the fluid second hand and a step motor driving the hour and minute hands. For added convenience, the timepiece includes a power-saving function that automatically halts the second hand after 5 minutes of inactivity, preserving energy while continuing to keep accurate time. To activate the second hand, simply swing your arm fully up and down for 3 to 5 seconds, and the second hand will resume motion.

The Spaceview 2020’s gold-tone open-work dial features signature Accutron green accents, a transparent outer ring, and super luminous markers. The watch is equipped with gold hour and minute hands and a green second hand for easy legibility. All Accutron warranties are registered online on the Bulova Warranty Portal directly by StarBuy on behalf of the customer. After purchase and shipping by StarBuy, an email is sent by Bulova registering the warranty directly to the buyer. A link to the online instructions manual is also sent within the email. Bulova no longer supply any hard copies of the warranty booklet or the instructions manual.
