This striking Oris Aquis Date Relief Grey dial watch is truly one of a kind. Not only does the diving instrument raise awareness of the importance of our world’s freshwater supplies and has been designed in collaboration with expedition swimmer Ernst Bromeis. This Oris watch is the first Aquis model to boast a relief bezel. Oris are one of the only luxury watch brands in the world that have shown consistency in aligning itself with conservation charities and this Oris Relief watch does a fantastic job of bringing our attention to the fragility of our freshwater with less than 3% of the world’s water now ‘unsalted’.

Working together with Oris, Ernst Bromeis is launching “The Blue Miracle initiative in which he will swim some of the largest freshwater lakes with the Oris Aquis Date Relief watch strapped to his wrist. The stunning design of this Oris mens watch is inspired by the colour and feeling of water. Its grey dial recalls the colour of the stormy sea while the signature relief bezel is decorated with raised Arabic numerals as a reminder of the texture of water and its pivotal role in life. Housed within the 43.5mm and 300 metre water resistant stainless steel case and displayed through the sapphire crystal exhibition case back is the Oris 733 automatic calibre which equips the Oris Aquis watch with hour, minute and seconds function, a date window at 6 o clock and a power reserve of 38 hours. For easy legibility under water, the hands on the grey dial are coated in Superluminova while the seconds hand is painted in a bold red to stand out against the rest of the water inspired design. To complete the sporty finish of this Oris Aquis Date Relief watch, a waterproof grey rubber strap is added alongside a folding buckle with diving extension.
