Returns & Warranty Policy

We want you to love your purchase from StarBuy. If something’s not quite right, we’re here to help.

Need to Cancel an Order?

No problem. Simply email us at sales@starbuy.com.au as soon as possible.

  • If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, we’ll cancel and refund it in full.
  • Refunds will be issued in the original payment method.
  •          Customised or modified orders, based on specific customer requests, are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Change of Mind? We Accept Returns Within 45 Days

If you change your mind, you can return eligible items within 45 days of placing your order for a full refund.

Here’s how:

  1. Contact us first at sales@starbuy.com.au with your order or invoice number and reason for return.
  2. We’ll issue you a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) via email.
  3. Include the RMA code and a copy of your Star Jewels invoice in your return parcel. Orders shipped without the RMA will be delayed as they wont be able to be identified at our warehouse.

To qualify for a refund:

  • Items must be unworn, unadjusted, unused and in original, re-saleable condition without showing any signs of use for any amount of time.
  • All original packaging, documentation, tags, and protective coverings must be in its original condition and included.
  • Returns that don’t meet these conditions will be declined.

Faulty or Incorrect Item. We are on it

If you’ve received a faulty or incorrect item, please email sales@starbuy.com.au as soon as possible.

  • We’ll assess the issue and let you know the best course of action.
  • If needed, we’ll contact the supplier and arrange a replacement, subject to availability.
  • If a replacement isn’t possible, you’ll receive a full refund, including any return shipping charges.
  • For incorrect items, we kindly ask you to return the item before a replacement is shipped.

Australian Consumer Law Compliance

Our products come with guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. You’re entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You’re also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure is not major.

Important Return Guidelines

  • Items remain your responsibility until they reach our warehouse.
  • We recommend using a registered postal service with tracking and keeping proof of postage. We are unable to confirm receipt of the parcel so the tracking information will be your best way to monitor the parcel.
  • Please package the item securely (as per how it arrived) to ensure safe return.
  • If StarBuy provides a return shipping label, you’ll need to drop the parcel off at your local post office.

Processing Your Refund

Once your return is approved, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 5 business days.

  • We will send you a confirmation email once the refund is issued.
  • If your return does not meet policy criteria, we’ll notify you via email and return the item to you.

Please Note

  • As a deep discount retailer, return shipping and transaction fees (up to 6.5%) are not refunded to us by payment providers and add on to our expenses.
  • Excessive or repeated returns may lead us to cancel future orders without notification, in fairness to all customers.
