Is the Seiko SRPK29K the same as the SKX007?
No, but it is the closest current Seiko makes to it. The black dial and black bezel of the SRPK29K deliberately echo the discontinued SKX007, which is why this reference draws the comparison in a way the green, blue and cream versions in the series don't. The differences are real: the SRPK29K uses a 38mm case rather than the SKX's 42.5mm, runs the newer 4R36 automatic with hand-winding and hacking (the SKX's 7S26 had neither), and carries an exhibition caseback. It is rated to 100m rather than the SKX's 200m ISO dive rating, so it looks the part but is not a like-for-like replacement for diving.
