To mark their new partnership with the Tactical Leadership Programme, Swiss watch manufacturer Oris have launched their latest Big Crown ProPilot TLP watch. Limited to only 750 pieces, the combat ready pilots watch is characterised largely by its oversized crown, instantly legible dial and coin edged bezel, three features that make it easy to use in the cockpit. It’s solid 44mm PVD coated stainless steel case is similarly durable with a water resistant rating of 100 metres and a screw in security crown designed to be easily manipulated even while wearing thick pilots gloves. The powerhouse of the Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot TLP watch is the Oris 752 automatic winding calibre with a power reserve of 38 hours.

Unlike many pilots’ watches, the case of the Oris Big Crown ProPilot TLP Limited Edition is dressed in an anti-glare gun metal grey PVD coating so there is no chance of distraction while flying. The domed sapphire crystal glass is also treated with an anti-reflective coating to ensure legibility of the olive green dial, large propeller shaped Superluminova hands and applied numerals is guaranteed. The minute track and inscriptions on the dial are dressed in beige, a colour taken from the golden eagle in the TLP logo and a sleek black seconds hand with a contrasting red tip. To match the green dial, the Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot TLP Limited Edition features a strap of the same colour engineered from Ventile textile. This high-perfomance material was conceived during the Second World War for British Royal Air Force pilots and delivers a flexible finish. Each 750-piece limited edition will also be presented in a unique olive and orange travel pouch also constructed from Ventile textile.

  If no one is available to sign, Australia Post will leave a card with details on how to collect your parcel from the closest authorised Australia Post Office.
