Like its namesake, the Engineer II Green Berets NM2028C-L4CJ-BK is built to handle pressure-filled situations. The 43mm titanium carbide case is extremely light, yet boasts strong resistance to corrosion and oxidation. With robust engineering, the timepiece withstands shock impacts up to 5,000Gs, thwarts anti-magnetic disturbance up to 4,800 A/m and delivers water resistance to 100 meters.

For elite forces, precise and instant information is paramount. Driven by the Swiss-made COSC BALL RR1103-C automatic movement with COSC certification, the timepiece delivers utmost precision and maximum legibility thanks to its 35mm dial and large hour batons. Along with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and Cyclops lens for date magnification, the clear-cut functionality is second to none.

As a reference to the first British commandos that started the legend of the Green Berets, the NM2028C-L4CJ-BK features a nubuck leather strap with a standard buckle. The result is a decidedly retro look that honours its military inspiration, yet fits right in with today’s modern occasions. In another nod to history, the case back is engraved with the US Army "Special Forces Airborne" insignia.

Just as special forces must operate in extreme conditions, including total darkness, the Green Berets is equipped with state-of-the-art micro gas tube luminosity. While the hour baton at 12 o’clock shines in orange for quick orientation, the remaining hour batons feature a strong green colour in tribute to the timepiece’s namesake. Requiring no external charging, the micro gas tubes shine automatically.

The watch features a Water Resistance rating of 100m / 330ft and an Anti-Magnetism rating of 4800A/m. For luminence there are 15 micro gas tubes on hour, minute, second hands, dial and pushers for night reading capability.
