In 1964, Seiko released the ‘Crown Chronograph’ – a unique piece that managed to capture the essence of the 60s in its looks and marked the first chronograph in a watch for Seiko. The Presage Style 60s range is built on the design of this original timepiece. In 2024, it will be the 60th anniversary of the iconic release that started it all. This modern limited edition timepiece of 5000 watches released globally accurately recreates the original and is the perfect homage to its heritage.

The SRPK61J1 recreates the iconic bezel design and its delicate lugs within the same size and proportions. Whilst maintaining the original dial layout, colourway and finish, this timepiece also recreates the first bracelet, but this time with a hairline and mirror finish.

The SRPK61 features the Seiko calibre 4R35 that is both manual as well as a self winding automatic movement with a normal operating accuracy tolerance of +45 / -35 seconds per day and a power reserve of 41 hours. The watch has a 39.5mm stainless steel case with thickness of 12mm, a lug-to-lug size of 46.2mm, a stainless steel bracelet with luminescent hands and indexes, box shape hardlex glass and a three-fold push button release clasp. Water resistance rating is 50m and additional features include a screw case back, exhibition case back and a date display between the 4'o clock and 5'o clock markers.
