Originally designed to celebrate the brand’s first diving watch released in 1965, the Oris Sixty Five watch collection has now become a classic for watch collectors. This breathtaking Oris Sixty Five Chronograph takes things one step further and becomes the very first series produced chronograph within the Sixty Five collection. It’s distinctive dial and retro shaped markers remain the same, but the extraordinary automatic winding movement provides chronograph functionality.

The understated, mid-century-inspired Divers Sixty-Five 01 771 7791 4054-07 8 20 18 is a contemporary echo of the first Oris diver’s watch, released in 1965. It’s now joined by a chronograph model with a classic 40mm case, a refined monochromatic dial design and a full stainless steel finish. The two-counter chronograph is framed by sweeping lugs, a solid uni-directional rotating bezel and handsome vintage chronograph pushers, giving it its timeless profile. Inside it is a Swiss Made automatic mechanical movement with a 48-hour power reserve.

The vintage aesthetic of this Oris Divers Sixty Five Chronograph does not take away from the contemporary Oris 771 automatic movement hidden within. As well as featuring hour and minute hands, the mechanical movement provides a central chronographs seconds hand, two subsidiary dials for seconds and 30 minutes counter and a power reserve of 48 hours. The Swiss made calibre is embraced within a 40mm stainless steel case fitted with scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass, a screw in security crown and black top ring detailed with a diving minute scale making it a handy piece of diving equipment that can withstand pressures of up to 100 metres. Like all Oris watches, this Sixty Five Chronograph ensures effortless wear and comfort thanks to the full stainless steel construction.
