On 1 June 2023, to celebrate the 119th anniversary of their founding, Oris are delighted to introduce you to the Hölstein Edition 2023. For the first time, they have chosen the evergreen Aquis diver’s watch as the base for the 250-piece limited-edition. Hölstein Editions are unique mechanical watches for Oris lovers. The 2023 Edition features a first-ever purple dial, no-date Aquis, and a one-off purple case back with a diving Oris Bear, encapsulating the Oris story and community.

Based on dive watch functionality, the Oris Aquis Calibre 400 41.5mm watch certainly underscores the clear commitment Oris have towards sourcing the very best in materials when it comes to taking to the water. Yet this variation of the dive watch emphasizes the brand’s sophisticated route to timekeeping. The watch is equipped with the Calibre 400, an in house movement that provides an impressive 5 day power reserve thanks to its twin barrels. Each barrel features an extended mainspring that enables it to guarantee a two and a half day power reserve and the movement is built from silicon parts to ensure anti magnetic protection.

The Oris Aquis Calibre 400 41.5mm Holstein model 01 400 7769 4188-SET watch features a striking royal Purple dial adorned with hands and indexes that glow in dark conditions thanks to superior luminous technology. These Super LumiNova elements are paired with an anti glare and scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass front, which also grants a clear view into the dial’s credentials when needed. The Oris Aquis Calibre 400 watch features a ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel for effortlessly tracking remaining dive time. To prevent water from leaking into the already 300 meter water resistant stainless steel multipiece case, the model also features a screw lock crown and protection system. To complete its diver ready look, the Oris Aquis Calibre 400 41,5mm watch wraps around the wrist with a solid steel bracelet. The bracelet secures with a folding clasp and a diver extension mechanism, but also features Oris’ innovative Quick Strap Change technology, enabling the watch to be switched onto a black rubber strap if desired.
