In collaboration with their partner, ispace inc., three new limited-edition models were created as part of the HAKUTO-R commercial lunar exploration program by Citizen. Taking inspiration from their ultimate destination, the moon, these models are designed and equipped with the world’s first analogue light-powered radio-controlled moon phase movement. Featuring the state-of-the-art radio-controlled Eco-Drive Cal. H874 movement, it ensures outstanding accuracy of ±15 seconds per month.

Crafted with the revolutionary Super Titanium™ material, these watches boast both durability and refined elegance. This collection is driven by CITIZEN's pioneering "Luna Program," a unique mathematical algorithm, the watch calculates the moon's phase daily using signals from multi-band radio transmitters. This data is seamlessly integrated to automatically adjust and display the moon's phase at the six o’clock position, offering an unparalleled level of precision. Additionally, it introduces the innovative "NS Shift" moon phase display switching function, allowing users to observe the moon's appearance from both the northern and southern hemispheres. Limited to 2,400 pieces worldwide.

The dial of the BY1007-60L showcases a mesmerizing starry sky in dark blue and silver glitter with a luminous gold moon positioned at the 6 o'clock marker representing the moon phase automatically calculated by the Luna program. The platinum-coloured case conjures the image of shining stars against a dark night sky, while the black band and bezel add to the exclusive appeal of this limited edition timepiece.

A Super Titanium™ case in gray DLC anchors the 41.5mm design of the BY1008-67L. A matching bracelet expands upon the style and secures the watch to the wrist, while a fine mix of polished and brushed surfaces add dynamism to the modern style. Beneath a sapphire crystal, a deep blue dial is on view, also featuring a moonphase display, and 4 o'clock date window. Sustainably powered by Citizen’s proprietary Eco-Drive technology to provide light-powered vitality without ever needing a battery. Water resistant up to 100 meters. Caliber H874.

Additional features of the BY1008-67L include a fold over clasp with push button Super Titanium bracelet, a Perpetual calendar, a power reserve of 2.5 years once fully charged and day & date functionality.

What we love: The overall look is stunning however its the make and the features that will make the Attesa collection a stand out. Contemporary look. Enhanced functionality and the ever dependable Citizen movements make this series a real standout.‌ A LOT of watch in our opinion for not a lot of money. The limited edition model BY1008-67L is a stuning addition to the collection and with the dial and the inclusion of the 'Silver Moon' completes the look of this model.
