Bulova Limited Edition Moon Apollo Lunar Pilot Mens Chronograph 96A312 with the original Bulova logo and dial layout featuring flat Sapphire crystal with blue anti-reflective coating and a case size of 43.5mm and thickness of 13.2mm.
On August 2, 1971, a Bulova pilot chronograph made history by being worn on the moon, designed specifically by Bulova to meet the challenges of the lunar environment. Now, Bulova revisits this iconic design, updating it with a high precision quartz movement for today's discerning wearers. Introducing the men’s Bulova Lunar Pilot chronograph from the Archive Series, featuring a unique dial that pays homage to its space travel legacy.
The Lunar Pilot chronograph 96A312 showcases a 43.5mm sandblasted silver-tone grade 5 titanium case with polished accents, offering a dynamic and lightweight feel on the wrist. The slim chronograph pushers and crown, adorned with the Bulova tuning fork logo, are perfectly proportioned and positioned at 3 o’clock. Beneath the flat sapphire crystal, the six-hand chronograph dial is crafted from genuine Muonionalusta meteorite. This 4.5-billion-year-old meteorite, discovered in Northern Scandinavia in 1906, boasts a unique crystalline pattern, ensuring that each dial is one of a kind.
A black tachymeter ring frames the dial of the 96A312, featuring a retro Bulova logo. The slim hands and applied markers provide exceptional legibility, enhanced with luminescent material for visibility in low light. The black recessed, circular grooved sub-dials include a 1/20 chronograph seconds counter at 3 o’clock, running seconds with a sweep hand at 6 o’clock, and a 60-minute chronograph counter at 9 o’clock. The Lunar Pilot is powered by Bulova’s proprietary high precision quartz movement, operating at a frequency of 262 kHz for unparalleled accuracy, and features a sweeping chronograph hand.
The watch comes with a fitted black leather strap, equipped with an easy-release system for quick changes. This edition is limited to 5,000 pieces and includes a storybook, limited edition card, and certificate of authenticity. The Bulova Lunar Pilot seamlessly blends historical design with modern technology, making it perfect for today’s adventurers.
The luxury watch also comes in special packaging. Limited to 5000 numbered pieces worldwide, it’s the perfect collector’s piece for watch and space enthusiasts alike.
