Bulova Jet Star Precisionist 262 kHz Mens Watch 97B214.

Straight from the 1970s comes the Bulova 1973 Jet Star “F”, an iconic model from the brand’s impressive history, now equipped with an equally impressive movement.

Borrowing from its historic forebear, the stainless-steel case features a striking angular design with broad facets and a domed sapphire crystal. The warmth of the butterscotch sunburst dial is accented by a rich brown chapter ring, applied brown and gold-tone hour markers, and gold tone hands. Luminescent markers at each hour and fill in the hands allow for exceptional legibility in every environment, while a date display sits perfectly at 3 o’clock. The Jet Star is powered by Bulova’s Precisionist movement, a revolutionary 8-jewel quartz mechanism vibrating at a remarkable 262kHz, accurate to 5 seconds per month with increased resistance to temperature changes, and with a sweeping seconds hand. The look is completed with a Brown sports leather strap. Legendary style with the high-flying Bulova 1973 Jet Star “F”, a design recreated for the modern connoisseur.

The Jet Star 97B214 has a case diameter of 40mm and thickness of 11.5mm with a lug width of 20mm with the lug to lug measurement of 45mm. The dial is a patterned Gold Brown with Gold & Red accents. The 97B214 is finished with a gold tone stainless steel case and a brown leather strap with a tang buckle and with a water resistance rating of 50m.

The Jet Star series watches including the 97B214 are powered by Bulova’s proprietary high precision quartz movement, resonating at a frequency of 262khz for unparalleled accuracy.

What we love: This historically relevant timepiece powered by a classic Bulova hi Beat Precisionist movement is a key piece in the brands history and a classic collectors item. The overall finish of the 97B214 as compared to its price represents excellent value for money.
