Bulova Archive Series Chronograph A Surfboard 98A253

A style inspired by history, the Chronograph A from the Archive Collection is a nod to the popular styles from Bulova’s diver chronographs from the 1970s. This style was popularly known as the “Surfboard” for the distinctive silver oval “surfboard” encircling the two sub dials. This updated version features a stainless steel case with silver and red accents and an Blue dial.

The dial features the notable oval in silver around the sub dials, as well as red tipped hour and minute hands, luminous hands and markers, and an red chronograph second hand. Five-hand chronograph quartz movement, domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Blue perforated silicone strap with deployment closure. Water resistance to 200 metres.

Bulova 98A253 features a 40mm case size with thickness of 14mm and a lug width of 20mm
