G-SHOCK MTG-B SERIES WILDLIFE PROMISING LIMITED EDITION SNAKESKIN PRINT WATCH

BACKGROUND

Based on the Casio theme of 'LOVE THE SEA & THE EARTH', the new release Casio G-Shock MTG-B1000WLP-1A is a collab model with WILDLIFE PROMISING, a Nonprofit in Africa working with the goal of coexistence between wildlife and humans. The Snakeskin pattern on this model is based on the African Rock Python which itself is an endangered specie.

FUNCTIONALITY

THE MTGB1000WLP-1A like the other Premium MTG models can be controlled via a Bluetooth link with a smartphone app for quick and easy watch setting of local time as well as world time which basically includes time setting for over 300 cities and can switch between home time & world time. The app communicates directly with the watch 4 times a day to automatically correct any time difference. This model is also Triple G Resist. Shock Resitant, Vibration Resistant and Resistant to Centrifugal force. This MTG-B model is also a solar powered model and hence no annoying battery changes required.

PERSONAL IMPRESSION

As with most G-Shocks, anyone would be lucky to use 50% of the functionality that the MTG-B1000WLP-1A offers, however in terms of the look of the watch, this one stands out on its own. If the Snakeskin tone is not noticed by all my friends at a party...are they even friends!

The spherical sapphire glass with the non-reflective coating makes this is a good, hard hitting daily wear model but as its a Limited Edition model, probably best worn with care and love

Definitely one for the bold and the beautiful. Personally it reminds me of Sailor Ripley in Wild at Heart. Perhaps thats what you need to be to rock this amazing watch!
