New bridgework detail is also incorporated with fine knurled finishing along with green contrast screws for a pop of colour. This style features a gold and silver-tone open-work dial with metal dial rings on which the super luminous markers are set, matching gold hour and minute hands with super luminova center and green tone second hand. The energy is stored in an accumulator and drives two motors: a world-first electrostatic motor powering the fluid second hand and a step motor driving the hour and minute hands. For added convenience, the timepiece includes a power-saving function that automatically halts the second hand after 5 minutes of inactivity, preserving energy while continuing to keep accurate time. To activate the second hand, simply swing your arm fully up and down for 3 to 5 seconds, and the second hand will resume motion.
