Seiko Night Vision SNE587P
Seiko Prospex Night Vision Series Limited Edition Solar Divers 1965 Reinterpretation Model SNE587P1. Limited Edition of 6000 pieces globally. Very popular since its inception and now in its third year of limited edition release, the Seiko Prospex Black Series was originally inspired by the mysterious world of night diving. The green lumibrite colouring on the markers and hands is designed for increased visibility in the dark world of the night seas, allowing time to be read clearly in dark conditions.
This specific design is inspired by Seiko’s 1965 Diver’s watch – Japan’s first ever Japanese 150m Diving watch, worn on Japanese Antarctic Expeditions until 1969.
Seiko SNE587P1 features the Seiko solar power V147 movement with a 10 month power reserve (once fully charged). Calibre V147 watches have an accuracy tolerance of +/- 15 seconds a month (at a temperature range of 10-60 degrees). This watch has a 38.5mm case in stainless steel with a matching bracelet and uses Sapphire Crystal. As a 200m water resistant dive watch, the SNE587P has a one way rotating bezel and a screw lock crown. The bezel and the dial are a matching black with bluish green accents.
What we love:The blue green and black tone dial and the bezel are stunning. The lumibrite hands and markers make visibiity in the dark much better. Sapphire Crystal. At 38.5mm, this is the perfect size for the smaller wrist. With the date feature, this is the perfect daily wear watch.
