Celebrating the fresh spirit of the 1960s, the Seiko SPGG05J1 takes particular inspiration from Seiko’s 1964 “Crown Chronograph,” Japan’s first watch with a stopwatch function. Framed by a blue bezel with rose gold accents, the blue dial includes a date calendar and beige LumiBrite hands and markers. The screwdown see-through caseback provides a view of the 23-jewel movement with manual winding capability, a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. Crafted of stainless steel, this distinctive timepiece includes a tri-fold push button release clasp. It is rated 5 bar, 50M Water Resistant

The SRPG05J1 features the Seiko calibre 4R35 that is both manual as well as a self winding automatic movement with a normal operating accuracy tolerance of +45 / -35 seconds per day and a power reserve of 41 hours. The watch has a 40.8mm stainless steel case with thickness of 12mm, a lug-to-lug size of 47mm, a stainless steel bracelet with luminescent hands and indexes, box shape hardlex glass and a three-fold push button release clasp. Water resistance rating is 50m and additional features include a screw case back, exhibition case back and a date display.

The new Seiko Presage Style60's series design takes its inspiration from the Crown Chronograph introduced in 1964. With contemporary earth tone colours, the watches combine the vintage design of the 1964 creation with contemporary elements to create a series with a retro feel perfect for modern times.
