Introducing the latest masterpiece in the Japanese Zen Garden Series, the Seiko Presage SSA464J timepiece. Inspired by the timeless beauty of traditional Japanese rock gardens, this luxury automatic Mens watch reflects Japan's deep connection to nature and mindfulness.
Under a dual-curve sapphire crystal glass of the Seiko Presage SSA464J1 is a light gold-coloured three-dimensional pattern, reminiscent of the sand patterns of a Japanese dry garden. With a glossy finish on the dial, the light yellow colours depict the glittering temples of the Japanese garden. A curved minute and second hand add extra elegance, whilst the gold-coloured second hand sweeps over an open-heart. It features the recognisable ‘Karesansui’ pattern, designed to look like the raked sand or gravel that promotes mindfulness. This design mirrors the carefully raked sand or gravel patterns known for promoting tranquility and focus.
At the 9 o’clock position, the open-heart window of the SSA464J reveals the precision of Seiko's Japanese watchmaking craftsmanship. Powered by an in-house built automatic calibre 4R39 that is both manual as well as a self winding automatic movement with a normal operating accuracy tolerance of +45 / -25 seconds per day and a power reserve of 41 hours. The watch has a 41.8mm stainless steel case with thickness of 12.5mm, a lug-to-lug size of 48.4mm and a lug width of 20mm.
The Seiko SSA464J1 is finished with a two-tone stainless steel bracelet, matching hands and indexes, dual curved Sapphire Crystal glass and a three-fold push button release clasp. Water resistance rating is 50m and additional features include a screw case back, exhibition case back, a 24 hour subdial and an open heart movement.
