The Dat Watt Limited Edition 01 761 7765 4185-SET is a special watch. Its dial displays the lunar cycle and tidal range in the Northern Hemisphere via the Oris-developed Pointer Moon function, created for professional divers. This works using a central white pointer hand that once aligned with the correct day in the 29.5-day lunar cycle, shows the corresponding tidal range via the white outline on the dial. The same hand indicates the waxing and waning of the moon.

The complication is powered by the Oris base 761 automatic winding movement which uses Centre hands for hours, minutes and seconds, moon phase by centre hand, date window, instantaneous date, date corrector, fine timing device and stop-second. The Oris Dat Watt watch is also equipped with a date window at 6 o’clock, white Superluminova accents and is limited to 2,009 pieces.

Following in the footsteps of other Oris Aquis watches before it, the Dat Watt watch comes fully prepped for diving with a Dat Watt decorated screw down case back water resistant to 300 metres, a 43.5mm stainless steel case, sapphire crystal glass and a unidirectional rotating bezel equipped with a 60 minute scale.

The Dat Watt Limited Edition is a high-performance, real-world diver’s watch. Its 43.5 mm case is water-resistant to 30 bar (300 metres) and features a number of devices designed to ensure safe underwater timekeeping. It has a uni-directional rotating bezel for securely timing dives (the minutes scale appears on a grey tungsten bezel insert); a screw-down security crown with protection; and lumed hands and indexes for underwater legibility.
