BALL Watch Company Engineer III Marvelight Chronometer Ladies Automatic Watch NL9616C-S1C-IBER. The Engineer III Marvelight Chronometer reveals a perfectly balanced design classic elegance while appearing quite fashionable at the same time. The RR (“RailRoad) monogram stands out delicately at the end of the seconds hand and subtly recalls BALL’s railroad heritage.

The Ice Blue dial of the NL9616C-S1C-IBER has deliberately been kept as plain as possible, with the attention going directly to the wide Rainbow gas tubes. Allowing a peerless night reading, the tubes provide superior luminosity that is about 100 times brighter than the conventional luminous. This state-of-the-art Swiss technology consists in encapsulating H₃ gas in glass microtubes. Light energy is released when the H₃ molecules strike the internal coloured surface of the tubes, without requiring recharge from any outside light or energy source.

The NL9616C-S1C-IBER is provided with a COSC certified chronometer movement, the automatic caliber BALL RR1101-C. To protect it, a mu-metal anti-magnetic shield has been selected in order to attract and deviate magnetic field lines up to an astonishing intensity of 1,000 Gauss. A screw lock crown allows a water resistance rating up to 100 meters and the case is made of 904L stainless steel for higher durability.

The Ball Engineer III Marvelight Chronometer Ladies Automatic Watch NL9616C-S1C-IBER features include a full 904L Stainless Steel case with Mu-Metal shield protection, a size of 36mm and thickness of 11.5mm with a lug width of 20mm. The bracelet is also 904L stainless steel with the with folding buckle. The glass used is anti-reflective Sapphire Crystal. The Ice Blue dial has hours, minutes, sweeping second hand along with a Date display. The watch features a Water Resistance rating of 100m / 330ft and an Anti-Magnetism rating of 1000 Gauss or 80,000A/m. For luminence there are 27 micro gas tubes on hour, minute and second hand for night reading capability. The crown is a screw-lock type. The watch weighs 145gm approximately.
