An evolution of classic design for modern adventuring, the Engineer II Skindiver Heritage Manufacture Chronometer DD3208B-S2C-BK enhances the purpose-built functions of skindiver watches. With micro gas tube luminosity appearing underneath curved rotating bezel, on the dial, and arranged handsomely on the hands, the watch’s undeniable avant-garde design is sure to entice.

The Swiss cutting-edge technology of luminous micro gas tubes featured on the Skindiver Heritage makes this timepiece highly functional in the darkness of the depths. This technology involves encapsulating H₃ gas in glass micro tubes, quite unlike any other luminescent material found in watchmaking. To add some playful action to this all-black timepiece, the tubes form a combination of rainbow-like colours.

The case and the bracelet of this full-black model are made of stainless steel with a TiC (Black Titanium Carbide) coating, and the subtle-domed sapphire crystal bezel adds style while being a central safety piece of the watch. The 42mm case features a see-through sapphire crystal case back that offers a unique view of the automatic movement. This model features the BALL manufacture chronometer caliber RRM7309-C, equipped with 80-hour power reserve while reaching COSC standards.

Ball Engineer II Skindiver Heritage Mens Automatic Watch DD3208B-S2C-BK features include a full Stainless Steel case with TiC coating, a size of 42mm and thickness of 15.2mm with a lug-to-lug size of 53mm and a lug width of 22mm. The bracelet is TiC coated stainless steel bracelet with folding buckle. The glass used is anti-reflective Sapphire Crystal. The black dial has hours, minutes, sweeping second hand along with a Date display. The watch features a Water Resistance rating of 200m / 660ft and an Anti-Magnetism rating of 4800A/m. For luminence there are 31 micro gas tubes on hour, minute and second hand for night reading capability. The crown is a screw-lock type. The watch weighs 190gm approximately.

What we like: A more perfect dive watch would be hard to imagine. The clean and clear dial with all the functionality required of a full fledged dive watch and this is the result.  The Limited Edition release only adds to the overall appeal of the watch. Another winner from Ball Watches for us.
